You will stay in and have exclusive use of the original old farmhouse with wrap around veranda, wooden floors, windows and shutters, and an open fireplace in the living room. Due to the current owner’s Scottish heritage, the décor is reflected with family portraits, furniture and history to give it the old-world charm. There are four spacious bedrooms each with a queen-sized bed, and ensuite bathroom. The house is equipped for 8 people.
The self-catering luxury farmhouse offers a large, fully equipped, open-plan kitchen, fridge/freezer, gas hob, two electric eye-level ovens, microwave, prep bowl and scullery. For those who prefer to cook outdoors, there are 2 undercover, outside barbecue areas.
There is a large open-plan family room, with a baby grand piano for those who wish to tinkle the ivories, and dining room. Upstairs is where you will find an entertainers delight with pool table, bar, card table, and flat screen TV leading out to an elevated deck overlooking the dam to the majestic mountains. This is a favourite spot for sipping sundowners while watching the sunset behind the mountains.
